WITH reference to Chris Robinson’s His Say (April 14) regarding the tower on the former Woolworth’s site.

Has he thought of the future? In my view, the city is spreading far too much. Land is needed for food and open spaces. We need to build upwards and underground to save space. Students in their own block would be supervised, which would save the mess they make now spoiling family homes in residential areas
